O grito

Solte-se
o grito
que dilacere a surdez
dos vivos-mortos
e outros olhos sejam a luz,
a cura
da cegueira que aflige
Estendam-se os braços
ao jeito do desabrochar
eleve-se o canto
que à boca traga o gosto
da palavra Liberdade.

The scream by Edvard Munch

"The Scream (Skrik, 1893) is a seminal expressionist painting by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch. Regarded by many as his most important work, it is said by some to symbolize modern man taken by an attack of existential angst. The landscape in the background is Oslofjord, viewed from the hill of Ekeberg. The Norwegian word skrik is usually translated as "scream", but is cognate with the English shriek. Occasionally, the painting has been called The Cry."

Hello Ake,

thank you for your visit!

You are right; sometimes I do associate poems or words to paintings, photos, or whatever crosses my mind. I don’t intend to have a strict line of conduct; I just write or connect things that make sense to me in that moment. Usually they are related to feelings, emotions, ideas, that may appear randomly, and therefore can assume many forms of expression :-)

I’d be very pleased to enlighten you about anything in the blog, if you want. Feel free to ask!

Arriverdeci! :)

está na tua mão
basta que não a feches
e deixes os dedos
correrem como as borboletas

dos teus cabelos"
